The IMS Agency were asked by our friends and client eOne to develop a family focussed prize experience for the highly anticipated theatrical release of The BFG which can be used to leverage free exposure via a media partner. The film, based on the loved timeless classic by Roald Dahl tells the story of ten-year-old Sophie who embarks on an adventure of a lifetime when she meets the Big Friendly Giant. Naturally scared at first, the young girl soon realizes that the 24-foot behemoth is actually quite gentle and charming. As their friendship grows, so does the unwanted attention of Bloodbottler, Fleshlumpeater and other giants. After traveling to London, Sophie and the BFG must convince Queen Elizabeth to help them get rid of all the bad giants once and for all.
IMS set about creating the Biggest Trip to London Ever which tied in perfectly with the themes of The BFG and because of the quintessentially Britishness flowing through the film, it was only right to partner with Britain’s Got Talent (UK)
